At the heart of feminism is the belief that every person has inherent self-worth and deserves to be treated with respect and humanity regardless of their social identity and place in society.

In our society filled with ‘isms’, we’re bombarded with the message that we are not good enough, not important enough, not competent enough, or not lovable enough.

In the face of all this, it’s no surprise that we:

  • Feel shame and judgment toward ourselves, our bodies, and our lives
  • Seek approval from others and crumple inside when we don’t get it
  • Lack the self-confidence to believe we deserve to dream or can achieve our dreams
  • Feel like we’re the only ones who struggle with these issues and its all our fault

But the truth is you do have inherent self-worth and you do deserve to be treated with love and compassion, especially by the most important person – YOU!

But in a world that tells us we don’t matter, we don’t often know how to love ourselves.

That’s why I founded Everyday Feminism – to help people realize that we aren’t alone, that we are enough, and that we can heal and stand up for ourselves.

Every month, over 2 million people read our online magazine to learn how to address different struggles in their life through feminism.

And to provide a deeper level of support, we offer Everyday Feminism’s flagship course – Everyday Self-Love: Turning Self-Love Into A Daily Habit.

For this course, I’ve synthesized my professional experience supporting survivors of violence and abuse, my own personal healing and life transformation process, and my training in life coaching.

I’ve distilled years of hard-earned experience into a self-paced online course with a simple, clear process so that you can learn how to practice daily self-love more quickly, more easily, with a whole community of support behind you.

Normally an intensive personal development course would easily cost around $300. But I’m committed to making this course more accessible through a special low price, referral discounts, and scholarships.

So if you’re ready to enroll, sign-up today to get instant access. You’ll be joining a community of feminists all on a shared journey toward greater self-love and self-acceptance.

I’ll see you on the inside!

Here is what some of the over 2,500 course alumni want to tell you about this course:

Genevieve A.

"Before starting the course, I feared it might be something commercial or inauthentic and that it may not resonate with me. Instead, the course was a re-discovery of hope. I found the place within myself that remembers liking myself. I found compassion, kinship, encouragement, and plenty of resonance to my heart. Once I was able to see that I am courageous, that I am intelligent, that life has not always been kind to me and yet, I live, I felt that I began breathing again. This course blew a fierce and yet gentle breeze through my consciousness."

"I have always struggled with self-doubt, especially as I was finishing off school and starting a new business. But now since I automatically counter those thoughts, that self-doubt feels greatly diminished. I’ve also learned that it’s ok to be gentle with myself and not in such a rush to get there that I abuse myself in the process. The peace of mind I have is well worth the cost of the course!"

ShabnamF

Shabnam F.

"When I began the course, I was afraid there was just too much negative talk to filter through and that undoing it would be hard work and emotionally draining. This course ended up being a huge stepping stone for me. I am more conscientious of when I hear negative self talk and am overall just less harsh towards myself and by extension to others close to me. This course is definitely worth your time and money. It offers a potentially life-altering way of seeing and perceiving yourself."

The Course Action Plan

For Turning Self-Love into a Daily Habit

Module 1: Identify Your Toxic Self-Talk

You’ll begin to separate out the toxic voices you hear from your own voice by:

  • Identifying how and where toxic self-talk flares in your life
  • Seeing where the toxic messages that you’ve internalized have come from
  • Learning why ignoring or trying to “control” the toxic voices actually makes them stronger
  • Understanding that you don’t have to be “perfect” in order to deserve self-respect and self-love

Module 2: Heal the Hurt Within

You’ll begin to understand and soothe the hurt that’s led to the toxic voices by:

  • Connecting the toxic voice with its original pain and fear from when you were overwhelmed and/or traumatized
  • Seeing the original hurt as separate from the adult you, similar to inner child work
  • Developing a loving relationship to help heal the hurt
  • Understanding the roadblocks to healing the hurt within and how to navigate them

Module 3: Counter Toxic Self-Talk

You’ll begin to distance yourself from the message’s toxicity and create new patterns of thinking to counter your toxic self-talk by:

  • Identifying the mistaken beliefs we carry about ourselves and the world that underly the toxic voices
  • Understanding the psychological dynamic behind why these messages are so limiting and damaging
  • Freeing yourself from the toxicity within the message
  • Creating positive affirmations that affirm your self-worth and promote your well-being
  • Having a go-to response for when toxic voice flares

Module 4: Honor Your Feelings and Needs

You’ll practice voicing your feelings and honoring your needs by:

  • Understanding why it’s so hard to hear your own voice and acknowledge your own needs
  • Seeing how you can honor your needs, even when you don’t feel ready to act on them
  • Learning where your true power comes from
  • Doing a guided visualization to meet the person you wish to be in the future to flesh out your voice

Module 5: Pulling It All Together

You’ll bring the four steps for self-love together into a single self-care habit that will replace a draining habit by:

  • Understanding the impact of draining habits on your life
  • Identifying the behaviors that you engage in that are not loving towards you
  • Creating a process to help you develop a new self-care habit
  • Developing a recovery plan to help you get back to practicing the habit

More testimonials from course alumni:

HannahH2

Hannah H.

"I learned that all the negative voices are not me but just messages repeated back to me that I have come to believe. With the help of this course, I am less judgmental of myself and others. I have a growing acceptance of who I am and I don’t believe the lie that once I am ‘somebody’ everything will change. I have learned that I am okay as I am."

MaryannG

Maryann G.

"I was afraid that I couldn’t love myself since I’m overweight and disabled. But this course helped me to reflect on my life, my past, my decisions. It helped me realize how much more self-love work I could do and how helpful it would be. I also loved the guided meditations. They touched me deeply and changed how I felt about myself."

"Sandra makes you feel heard, connected, and supported. She obviously really knows her stuff but beyond that her manner makes all the difference. Technique or knowledge would not be sufficient without those personal qualities she possesses and which make her so accessible. She models that absolute acceptance in her every response to participants’ issues and doubts and does so consistently." - Annie M.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Here are answers to some common ones, but contact us if you have others!

How will I access everything?
After signing up, you will receive an email within a hour providing directions on how to access the private Everyday Self-Love course intranet on the Everyday Feminism website. From within the course intranet, you will be able to do everything – from accessing the course lessons to the different exercises, journals, and bonus reading materials to the guided visualizations. You will also have a private online course where you can complete exercises and save them for future reference. Your access never expires to the course so you can come back whenever you need support.

Will I get all the course modules at once or one at a time?
In order to help you process and digest the course at a reasonable pace, a new module will be released every two weeks for three months with the last module being one month long. We recommend that you spend at least two weeks on each module but you may find that you need more time, which is fine.

How will I stay connected to the course and community?
For the first three months, you will receive weekly emails notifying you of new modules.

What do you mean by lifetime access? Will I get access to new updates as they roll out?
Lifetime access means that you will have access to the course for as long as it’s being offered. During this time, you will always been able to access the course modules. This also means if we make any changes and updates to the course in the future, you will have access to them as well.

I would like to take this course but can I justify spending money on myself?
For some people, they don’t have the additional money to spend on a course (see next question below). For others, they may have the money but feel uncomfortable spending it on something that’s just for their own benefit. Needless to say, we think you’re worth it!

Regardless if you enroll in this course, please remember, you still deserve to be able to love yourself and focus on your needs.

If I don’t have the extra money to pay for this course right now but I really want to take it, what should I do?
We’ve purposely underpriced this 3-month course at $97 (the equivalent of just $8 per week!) to make it more financially accessible. However, we understand that within our community, even $8 per week may be too much for some.

So here are some ways to manage the fee and still access the course:

  1. Pay in 3 monthly installments of $33: If you can’t pay the full price all at once, you can pay it in 3 installments. Click here to do so.
  2. Refer someone: If you refer someone to the course who signs up, have them tell us via the Contact Us form. You’ll get 25% of the fee refunded to you. So if you get 4 friends to join you, you get the course for free! Note that this also retroactive, so it’s ok if you’ve already signed-up, you’ll still get the discount!
  3. Apply for a scholarship: As part of our commitment to social justice and accessibility, Everyday Feminism has a scholarship fund that receives $1 of every $4 earned from course sales. Click here to learn more.

I’ve taken another Everyday Feminism course. Do I get a repeat customer discount?
Yes, we do give a 15% repeat customer discount as our thank you! If you’ve enrolled in one of other online courses and are enrolling in a new one, please let us know via the Contact Us form. We’ll email you back to confirm that we’re refunding you 15% of the course fee.

Is the course accessible for people with a hearing impairment?
Yes, it is – the entire course is text-based.

Can I take this course instead of getting one-on-one therapy?
The course is not intended to replace therapy sessions with a licensed counselor or psychologist since it is an online course with limited individual support. Additionally Sandra is a life coach, not a mental health professional and is not qualified to work with people with serious psychological issues, such as substance abuse, major depression, and personality disorders. If you are struggling with such issues, we recommend you seek counseling first. If you currently are in therapy, this course can be a strong complement and we recommend you discuss it with your therapist before enrolling to see if it’s a good match.

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
We want to make sure that this course is right for you. And if you find that it’s not, you can get a full refund anytime within the first 30 days of the course just by letting us know.
