COURSE LEADER: SANDRA KIM
Founder and CEO of Everyday Feminism
In our society filled with ‘isms’, we’re bombarded with the message that we are not good enough, not important enough, not competent enough, or not lovable enough. We are told that there is something wrong with us when they laugh at us for being fat or gay; blame us when we are assaulted; dismiss our opinions as being ‘emotional,’ and the list goes on.
In the face of all this, it’s no surprise that we:
- Feel shame, judgment, and even hatred toward ourselves, our bodies, and our lives
- Seek approval from others and crumple inside when we don’t get it
- Lack the self-confidence to believe we deserve to dream or can achieve our dreams
- Feel like we’re the only ones who struggle with these issues and its all our fault
But the truth is you do have inherent self-worth and you do deserve to be treated with love and compassion, especially by the most important person – YOU!
But in a world that tells us we don’t matter, we don’t often know how to love ourselves.
That’s why I founded Everyday Feminism – to help people realize that we aren’t alone, that we are enough, and that we can heal and stand up for ourselves.
Every month, over half a million people read our online magazine to learn how to address different struggles in their life through feminism.
At the same time, we know that for many of us, we need a deeper level of support to create the change we want – and deserve – in our lives.
To provide that deeper level of support, we offer Everyday Feminism’s flagship course – Everyday Self-Love: Turning Self-Love Into A Daily Habit.
For this course, I’ve synthesized my professional experience supporting survivors of violence and abuse, my own personal healing and life transformation process, and my training in life coaching.
I’ve distilled years of hard-earned experience into a 90-day online course with a simple, clear process so that you can learn how to practice daily self-love more quickly, more easily, with a whole community of support behind you.
Normally a 3-month personal development course with group support would easily cost around $300 and a single coaching session would cost over $100. But I’m committed to making this course more accessible through a special low price, referral discounts, and scholarships.
So if you’re ready to enroll, don’t put it off! You’ll be joining a community of feminists all on a shared journey toward greater self-love and self-acceptance.
I’ll see you on the inside!
|What if instead of this?||You did this every day?|
|Treat yourself like you’re not enough||Do something every day showing that you love yourself and that you’re enough|
|Judge, criticize, or ignore yourself, your body, and your feelings||Accept yourself, your body, and your feelings as they are|
|Avoid conflict and not communicate your feelings or needs||Listen to your inner voice and speak your truth about what you’re feeling and need|
|Internalize toxic messages from society and people in your life||Be resilient to toxic messages from society and people in your life|
|Seek approval from others||Find validation within yourself|
|Feel guilty or self-indulgent for focusing on yourself||Prioritize your well-being and dreams|
|Fear failure and people finding out you’re a ‘fraud’||Have greater courage to be vulnerable and take risks for what you believe in|

How will I access everything?
After signing up, you will receive an email within a hour providing directions on how to access the private Everyday Self-Love course intranet on the Everyday Feminism website. From within the course intranet, you will be able to do everything – from accessing the course modules, RSVP’ing to the group discussions, signing up for private coaching session, to participating in the online discussions. You will also have a private online course where you can complete exercises and save them for future reference. The only course component that is not in the course intranet is the private Facebook group, which is optional. Your access never expires to the course so you can come back whenever you need support.
Will I get all the course modules at once or one at a time?
In order to help you process and digest the course at a reasonable pace, a new module will be released every two weeks for three months with the last module being one month long. We recommend that you spend at least two weeks on each module but you may find that you need more time, which is fine.
How will I stay connected to the course and community?
For the first three months, you will receive weekly emails notifying you of new modules and reminders about group discussions and private coaching sessions. After the 3 months are over, you will only receive a monthly email reminding you of the group discussions. You will also have a lifetime access to the private Facebook group where you will get daily inspirational posts and connect with other course members.
How do you do the group discussions? How long do I have access to them?
The group discussions are designed to give you the opportunity to reflect on your journey and connect with other course members and are facilitated by Sandra or another Everyday Feminism staff. Please note that it’s not meant to get personalized support from Sandra, like in the coaching sessions.
It’s held once a month on the first Wednesday of the month at 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST. They are 1 hour long and are held on Skype, which is a group video call. If you don’t want to join via video, you can also just join via telephone.
You can participate in the group discussions for as long as they’re offered. After you receive all the course materials, you will continue to get a reminder via email and Facebook. Please note that the group discussion is only supplementary to the course since many people cannot make it due to time zone difference and other commitments.
How do you do one-on-one coaching? How many times can I have a session?
Coaching sessions with Sandra are are designed to help you work through any questions or struggles you’re having in understanding and implementing the course modules. They are conducted via telephone or Skype video calls and are 45-minutes long. You can schedule up to 3 sessions for the first year of your enrollment.
What do you mean by lifetime access? Will I get access to new updates as they roll out?
Lifetime access means that you will have access to the course for as long as it’s being offered. During this time, you will always been able to access the course modules, participate in the group discussions, and engage in the private Facebook group. This also means if we make any changes and updates to the course in the future, you will have access to them as well. The only time limited component is the one-on-one coaching sessions, which are only for the first year after you’ve enrolled.
I would like to take this course but can I justify spending money on myself?
For some people, they don’t have the additional money to spend on a course (see next question below). For others, they may have the money but feel uncomfortable spending it on something that’s just for their own benefit. Needless to say, we think you’re worth it!
Regardless if you enroll in this course, please remember, you still deserve to be able to love yourself and focus on your needs.
If I don’t have the extra money to pay for this course right now but I really want to take it, what should I do?
We’ve purposely underpriced this 3-month course at $127 (the equivalent of just $10 per week!) to make it more financially accessible. However, we understand that within our community, even $10 per week may be too much for some.
So here are some ways to manage the fee and still access the course:
- Pay in 3 monthly installments of $43: If you can’t pay the full price all at once, you can pay it in 3 installments. Click here to do so.
- Refer someone: If you refer someone to the course who signs up, have them tell us via the Contact Us form. You’ll get 25% of the fee refunded to you. So if you get 4 friends to join you, you get the course for free! Note that this also retroactive, so it’s ok if you’ve already signed-up, you’ll still get the discount!
- Apply for a scholarship: As part of our commitment to social justice and accessibility, Everyday Feminism has a scholarship fund that receives $1 of every $4 earned from course sales. Click here to learn more.
I’ve taken another Everyday Feminism course. Do I get a repeat customer discount?
Yes, we do give a 15% repeat customer discount as our thank you! If you’ve enrolled in one of other online courses and are enrolling in a new one, please let us know via the Contact Us form. We’ll email you back to confirm that we’re refunding you 15% of the course fee.
Is the course accessible for people with a hearing impairment?
Yes, it is. Everything in the course is available in a written format except for the group discussion and one-on-one coaching sessions, which occur over the telephone or group video chats. However if you cannot participate in them, you can always ask Sandra any typed questions in the course intranet or in the private Facebook group.
Can I take this course instead of getting one-on-one therapy?
The course is not intended to replace therapy sessions with a licensed counselor or psychologist since it is an online course with limited individual support. Additionally Sandra is a life coach, not a mental health professional and is not qualified to work with people with serious psychological issues, such as substance abuse, major depression, and personality disorders. If you are struggling with such issues, we recommend you seek counseling first. If you currently are in therapy, this course can be a strong complement and we recommend you discuss it with your therapist before enrolling to see if it’s a good match.
How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
We want to make sure that this course is right for you. And if you find that it’s not, you can get a full refund anytime within the first 30 days of the course just by letting us know.
