On the left panel, labelled "EQUALITY," three people of different heights are all standing on boxes of the same size as they try to peer over a fence at a baseball game. The shortest person cannot see over the fence because the box that they stand on is too short. In the right panel, labeled "EQUITY," the tallest person is not standing on a box, the middle person is standing on one box, and the shortest person is standing on two boxes. Now, because they have the assistance they all need, everyone can see over the fence and watch the baseball game.
