Become An Agent For The Workplace (R)Evolution!
Are you ready for the gender revolution? It's happening right before our eyes and it’s changing the way we interact with people and the way we do business.
Think about it: At what point did you choose to be a boy or a girl? That question is often at the heart of what it means to deconstruct binary spaces.
We all start life in the same way: being assigned a gender based on our body parts. For cis-gender people, this can be the start of a life that is alignment with how they feel. For transgender and gender diverse people, this does not happen and it’s this difference that leads to trans people experiencing high rates of poverty and violence.
When we come to the realization that gender is a performance and masculinity and femininity are concepts that are often violently enforced in our society, we can start to look at what it means to live in a heteronormative world and start to consciously and proactively create environments that promote diversity in deeper ways.
The LGBTQAI+ acronym keeps growing, and one day it may have all the letters of the alphabet. That’s okay! The point is not to get caught up in the letters, but rather to understand the nuanced diversity that is highlighted at the intersection of sex, gender, race and class.
So, what can you do to create a world where we are all valued for who we are and not for what body parts we were born with? Well, it starts with an understanding of heteronormative and cis-centric binary gender systems.
You break these systems down by learning the correct terminology to use in gender diverse environments. But it doesn’t stop there. You must also do the work of understanding the common barriers, like privilege, that keep us from fostering inclusive environments.
This training will not only give you the tools you need to feel comfortable in these diverse environments and empower you to be an ally to the LGBTQAI+ community, but it will also make diversity and inclusion a part of your everyday life.
This exciting discussion will cover the latest in language evolution, such as gender-neutral pronouns and when to use them. You will also understand how to respectfully gauge people's identities when they do not present on the binary, and much more.
By the end of this training, you’ll understand what transitioning means in the trans community and in the workplace. You’ll get tips for being inclusive, learn about the laws that protect trans/gender non-conforming people in the U.S., and what you can do to create safer and more inclusive environments.
When you give people the tools to understand new concepts, the transition towards greater inclusion and diversity becomes smoother and the (R)Evolution begins!

Letter from the Webinar Leader
I immigrated to the states when I was 5 years old. My mother left an abusive relationship in Mexico to make a better life for us. She instilled in me that I was smart, creative and worthy of love and always made me feel special.
I came home after my first day of school with lots of questions for my mom. The first question I had was “Mommy, what does 'faggot' mean?” All the kids at school were calling me that.
The trauma I experienced that first day of school followed me most of my life and kept me from participating in school activities, raising my hand in class when I knew the answer, and excelling like other kids.
Unfortunately, my story is not unique. For transgender and gender non-conforming kids, this is often our reality and for those kids who weren’t lucky enough to have a supportive parent that trauma is multiplied 1000%.
I believe that when we know better, we do better. That is why I have dedicated my life to breaking down misogyny, heteronormativity, and the binary gender system.
After this training, you will have a deep understanding of the barriers that keep us all from living equitable lives. You will be empowered to not only interrupt transphobic instances, but will be inspired to challenge heteronormativity and to break our chains.
If you believe that we can live in a world where we are valued for who we are and not an identity that was assigned to us at birth based on our body parts, then I invite you to on this journey toward a new level of authenticity with me.
