There’s lots of pressure to come across that way. These days, there are even “selfie surgery” apps that people can use to change their features and get closer to society’s idea of “ideal” beauty.

But selfies aren’t all bad – they can help some people get a confidence boost. So how does the pressure to take “perfect” selfies affect us – and what does it say about our society?
