If Asian Women Hit On White Guys the Way White Guys Hit On Asian Women

“Say something in Mid-Western.”

Due to how our society has sexualized Asian women in a racialized way, Asian and Pacific Islander and Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) women often have to deal with sexist and racist microaggressions that are normalized in our society as “flirting.”

That means when white guys try to flirt with APIA women, a few of the same offensive comments tend to come up.

“Where are you from? What kind of weird food did your mom cook for you? I really like Asian women. My last ex was Asian.”

To highlight the absurdity of these all too common comments, check out this hilarious video of what would it look like if the roles were switched and APIA women said this stuff to white men.
