Have you ever been called a social justice warrior? The term, also referred to as SJW, began as an insult against people who care about ending oppression.

But how can striving for justice and equality be a bad thing? You might want to reclaim the term as a badge of pride after you check out this video starring one person qualified to lead us into anti-oppression battle – the insightful and hilarious Franchesca Ramsey.

In this “leaked footage,” Franchesca reveals how social justice warriors are made – in a hardcore training camp that includes learning how to disarm fake facts, navigate toxic comments sections, and respond to accusations of being “too PC.”

Franchesca Ramsey: There’s a war going on out there, and we need warriors. Social Justice Warriors! Maggot! Are you ready to promote social justice, acceptance, and tolerance?

Speaker 2: Yes, sir!

Francesca: What did you call me?

Speaker 2: Yes, ma’am!

Franchesca: You want to try that again?

Speaker 2: Yes, gender-neutral-pronoun!

Franchesca: There may be hope for you yet! Maggot! Let me hear your war cry!

All: Everyone deserves basic dignity and respect!

Franchesca: Basic training begins now!

On the battlefield, you maggots will encounter fake facts, and you must know how to disarm them! “Blacks are lazy and eating up all the food stamps!”

Speaker 3: Actually, the majority of food stamps go to white families.

Franchesca: “Planned Parenthood harvests baby parts for profit!”

Speaker 4: That claim is based on an intentionally misleading video from anti-abortion activists.

Franchesca: “Muslims were celebrating in New Jersey after 9/11!”

Speaker 2: There is zero footage or eyewitness reports that ever happened.

Franchesca: All right, maggot, this room simulates the YouTube comments section. Consider this your trigger warning.

Speaker 4: Okay!

Speaker 5: Ban all Muslims.

Speaker 6: First grade teachers need to be armed.

Speaker 7: Donald Trump should be president.

Speaker 8: Build a wall.

Speaker 4: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, God! Who thinks like this anymore? Oh my God! I, I can’t take it in there! I don’t feel safe!

Speaker 2: We’re coming, buddy.

Speaker 3: Yes, we can! Here’s your granola bar; it’s all organic.

Speaker 2: We support you; we love you.

Franchesca: Good job, maggots. We’re in this war together.

And for your final test, you’ll have to pass target practice!

Speaker 3: Political correctness is just treating others with respect. The bigger question is “Why do you want to say politically incorrect things so badly?”

Franchesca: Why aren’t you saying anything?

Person 2: There’s nothing for me to say! It would be inappropriate for me to dominate this particular conversation!

Franchesca: Good job, maggot!

Person 4: Can you stop calling us “maggots,” please?

Person 3: It’s disrespectful and fly larvae are an invaluable part of our ecosystem.

Franchesca: Excellent point, ma—soldiers! Congratulations! You are all officially Social Justice Warriors. You will be on the front lines of social justice. Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Reddit threads, and I know you will make me proud. Now go out there and give them hell! Respectfully.
