How Non-Christians Know There’s No War on Christmas

As people in the US (rightfully) acknowledge more and more that our country’s made up of people of many different religions as well as no religions, word is spreading about how to be more inclusive of people who aren’t Christian during the fall and winter.

Still, this time of year tends to spark debates about the so-called ‘War on Christmas’ – a supposed attempt to keep Christians from celebrating their holiday.

So what’s really going on? Is Christmas under attack, or are we growing as a culture to recognize the way Christianity dominates our society – to the detriment of people who don’t hold Christian beliefs?

This comic puts you in the shoes of someone who’s not celebrating the dominant holiday. If you’re not Christian, this may feel familiar – and if you are, check out what it’s like to have a holiday you don’t celebrate take over the world around you.

Here’s a chance to reflect on how to make this a more inclusive time of year.
