6 Steps to Ending a Toxic Relationship with a Friend or Partner

Editor’s Note: In this video, there is a lot of implication that we’re responsible for how other people treat us. We at Everyday Feminism don’t believe that. We know that individual people are not responsible for making sure that they are treated well – that onus is on the other person. We can, however, make healthier choices for ourselves in our relationships – and we like this video for sharing how we can do that.

Many of us end up in toxic relationships with friends or partners – and then it’s hard to know what to do about it.

But you deserve better than relationships that are bringing you down. So here’s an episode of WellCast that might help. This illustrated guide offers steps you can take to recognize if you’re in a toxic relationship and set boundaries to take care of yourself.

Everyone’s healing journey is different, and yours is valid no matter where you are. If these steps resonate with you, then you deserve to take them for your own well-being.

With Love,
The Editors at Everyday Feminism
