When you think “eating disorders,” do you automatically think of women? It’s true that women are more commonly affected by eating disorders, but believe it or not, millions of men and boys also battle all forms of the illness.
Yet, because our society sees eating disorders as a “women’s issue,” they often overlook and minimize how eating disorders affect men. And this makes it that much harder for them to get help.
