What’s the big deal about misrepresentation in the media? You may think that issues like stereotypes on TV, offensive Halloween costumes, and fat-shaming magazine covers are trivial.

But the real-life impact of these issues is much more dangerous than you might realize. Here’s  a comic that connects the dots to show why media misrepresentation – even when it shows up in “just a movie” – is something we should all care about.
